Protection of your personal data. GENMAR IC VE FOREIGN TRADE INC. (GENMAR) is among the most important priorities, and all necessary efforts and sensitivity are shown to act in accordance with all applicable legislation in this regard. The scope and manner in which personal data will be processed by GENMAR within the scope of the relevant legislation is explained below.

ğ) Data processor: The natural and legal person who processes personal data on behalf of the data controller, based on the authority given by the data controller,

  1. h) Data registration system: The registration system in which personal data is processed and structured according to certain criteria,

 ı) Data controller: means the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for the establishment and management of the data recording system.


Processing of Personal Data General principles

(1) Our company processes Personal data only in accordance with the procedures and principles stipulated in the Law and other relevant legislation.

 (2) The following principles are complied with in the processing of personal data by our company.

  1. a) Compliance with the law and honesty rules.

  2. b) Being accurate and up-to-date when necessary.

  3. c) Processing for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes.

ç) Being connected, limited and restrained with the purpose for which they are processed.

  1. d) To be kept for the period required by the relevant legislation or for the purpose for which they are processed.

(3) Personal data by our company, Law No. 6998 art. 5 and art. It is processed within the framework of the conditions stipulated in 6 and other relevant provisions.


Purpose of processing personal data

Your personal data collected by our company is collected in accordance with the basic principles determined by both the legislation and the Personal Data Protection Authority. Our purposes for collecting personal data:

- To carry out the necessary work by our relevant business units for the realization of the commercial activities carried out by GENMAR and to carry out the related work flow process,

-Managing the relations of GENMAR with its business partners and Suppliers,

- Planning and implementation of sales and marketing processes regarding GENMAR's products and services, Plan and implementation of after-sales support service activities, Implementation and follow-up of reporting activities, follow-up and evaluation of contract processes, customer complaints and suggestions,

- Planning the marketing processes of products and services, carrying out market research activities, increasing customer satisfaction, realizing communication for promotional and informative purposes regarding products and services, collecting and compiling statistical information,

- Ensuring the legal, technical and commercial occupational safety of GENMAR and related persons who have a business relationship with GENMAR,

In case of explicit consent of the data owner and/or article of the relevant Law. 8 and art. It can be transferred within the framework of the provisions of 9 and provided that all security measures are taken.


Data Controller's Obligation to Clarify

Our company informs the personal data owner during the acquisition of personal data within the framework of Article 10 of the Law and in accordance with this provision. In this context ; It provides information on the identity of the data controller and its representative, if any, for what purpose the personal data will be processed, to whom and for what purpose the processed personal data can be transferred, the method and legal reason for collecting personal data, and other rights listed in Article 11 of the Law.

Everyone can apply to the data controller about himself/herself; Learning whether personal data is processed, Requesting information if personal data has been processed, Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with its purpose, Knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, in the country or abroad, Requesting correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the Law, Requesting the notification of the transactions made within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the Law to the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred, Objecting to the emergence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,

You can submit your applications regarding your rights listed above at internet address or by using the Registered Electronic Mail (KEP) address.

Our company will conclude the request free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the transaction requires an additional cost, the fee determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be charged by us.
